WORKOUT OUTSIDE THE GYM

When your schedule just will not allow it, or you are in college and the recreational center is not a quick jog away anymore,  what is a pageant girl to do to help achieve her pageant body outside of the gym? What most girls do not know is that it is not all about doing a specific workout, there are a few more things you can do too. These tips will stick with you long after the hectic schedules and long distances from the gym.

 A few notes that I shared with the group at last nights workshop.

• Every contestant will need to find a personal escort, we are looking for little boys this year.  So if you have a little brother than you can use him. If you don't have any little brothers or access to any nephews then let me know. I have committee members who have grandsons and sons that would love to be your escort. 

• Make sure to check your talent music on the ASCAP website.  All music must be listed somewhere on this site for...

Just a few reminders:

Tuesday is Pj party at 6:30 at Dawn Meeves house- see calendar for address if you have lost your invitation.
Wed at 5pm sharp is technical rehearsal at Orem high- please be on time and bring all your stuff
Thurs : 4-6 is Teen dress rehearsal  please bring everything and be on time.
   Dinner will be at 6pm that night
    7-9 is Miss Orem dress rehearsal.  

Have all escorts show up at 9pm to learn their part on Thrusday

Workshop Note:

1. Escorts for the pageant:  We are asking you find your own escort either your father, grandfather, uncle or brother. They will help escort you the contestant in your evening wear.
2. Each contestant is asked to turn in a 25$ commitment check showing that you are committed to finishing this pageant.  The commitment check will be applied towards the Miss Orem Outstanding Teen scholarship.

2. Sign and  turn in the notarized Contract
3. Check Talent song availability on ASCAP, click on link (found on Home Page) enter song title or writers name into the search box found in the upper right hand corner.
